Industry Comparison and Analysis Before and After COVID
In this project, we use Python visualizations to perform an analysis on the movie theater industry and the full-service restaurant industry. The guiding question that begins the project is: which industry bounced back better after COVID? Upon deciding who struggled more to recover post COVID, we will perform an analysis as to why that industry is not seeing pre-COVID outputs anymore. Finally, we ask ourselves: what can this industry do to atract pre-COVID crowds again? We answers this with data sets that prove the legimitacy of our ideas. Follow through steps 1, 2, and 3 to watch the analysis unfold. Overall, we hope that this project will demonstrate that even as time and people change, our appreciation for tradition remains. Through the entertainment industry and the art of film, we hope to maintain tradition while innovating for survival in a competition industry.
